ABOUT THE PODIUM DESIGN COMPETITION

The UTS Building 1 and Building 2 Podium Extension Design Competition is an opportunity to design a 4 star Green Star building on the south-western edge of the Sydney CBD. The building will help to redefine the face of UTS and the character of Broadway.

The competition is open to all registered Australian architects, and will be conducted in two stages. In the first stage competition registrants are invited to submit design concepts for the UTS Building 1 and Building 2 Podium Extension, and capability statements demonstrating their suitability for the project from past performance.

Five finalists have been invited to the second stage. Finalist details are on the News page.

Each second stage participant firm will be paid $40,000.
