Twenty-seven architects submitted concept designs as part of the first stage of the design competition. Each architect submitted up to 4 x A2 display boards, which are displayed in the gallery below. All designs were reviewed anonymously by a panel of 3 UTS representatives.

On this basis, 3 architects were selected to proceed to Stage 2 of the competition. The Design Competition Manager ensured that no identifying features were included in any of the concept designs. To understand more about the design competition, visit the process page.
